Sadly, Mum suffered from Vascular Dementia towards the end of her life. Mum was extremely brave by 'owning' her diagnosis, even though it was painful to accept. This enabled us to support Mum through the darkest of times which, thanks to her immense fortitude, were few and far between. Therefore, we think it is fitting that donations - rather than flowers - go to Alzheimer's Research UK in their fight to conquer this devastating disease.
