Our Mum was, quite simply, the best Mum ever. Like all Mums', she got a lot of things wrong BUT got a lot more things right. She was always there for us, even if she didn't quite understand what was going on in our lives. She put her girls before herself, and shared our pain and our happiness throughout her life.

Mum was as beautiful to look at as she was within: a real lady. We know how to hold ourselves well; how to walk down stairs elegantly; how to sip drinks; how to dress stylishly; how to make sure no one is left out in company; etc. The list of 'how to's' go on and on, and we thank her for that knowledge. It's what made Mum, Mum.

Our sadness is that Mum never believed in herself. She felt she had failed us when the exact opposite was the truth. We feel so lost without her. We know we will never again hear her beautiful voice; see her amazing smile when she saw us; hear her telling us she loved us so much; feel the touch of her kiss or the caress of her hand as she stroked our faces. These are now cherished memories that will be with us forever, as will our love for her.
